Planning Your First Bulk Kit Order: What to Expect

Placing your first bulk kit order can feel overwhelming — there is a lot of jargon, a lot of decisions, and usually a deadline breathing down your neck. This guide removes the guesswork.

What Is the Minimum Order Quantity?

Our standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style per colourway. For complex sublimated kits, this is where the unit economics start to make sense for us — below that threshold, setup costs outweigh the order value.

If you need fewer than 50 units for a trial or a small squad, we can discuss stock options or a sample order, but these will be priced differently.

How Long Will It Take?

What Artwork Do You Need to Send?

The golden standard is a vector file (.ai or .eps) with all fonts outlined and Pantone references included. If you only have a raster logo (.png or .jpg), it needs to be at minimum 300dpi at the print size — ideally 600dpi.

  1. Preferred: .ai or .eps with Pantone colours specified
  2. Acceptable: high-resolution .pdf (300dpi+)
  3. Workable: .png at 600dpi or above (we will re-trace if needed)
  4. Not suitable: .jpg logos from a website (we can work around this for a fee)

Sizing and Size Breaks

We manufacture to European sizing standards (XS–4XL) and American sizing standards — please specify which when ordering. For youth kits, we run separate patterns.

Provide your size breakdown with the order — we do not hold buffer stock, so each size is cut and sewn to your exact quantity.

Payment Terms

For first-time clients, we require 50% deposit on order confirmation and 50% prior to dispatch. Established accounts with credit history can apply for 30-day terms after three orders.

The most common delay we see is artwork approval. Getting that signed off quickly is the single biggest thing a client can do to hit their deadline.Sarah Chen, B2B Sales Manager
